Watercolour Whimsy Art (Heidi Kirby)

I am an artist based in Worcestershire on the edge of the Cotswolds. I have a professional
background in nursing, am a mother of three children, owner of many pets and have several
eclectic tastes! Having had no formal education in art I was fortunate enough in 2022 to attend a
workshop with a local artist. I immediately fell in love with watercolour and gained the creative
outlet I had longed for for many years!


Watercolour Whimsy Art was launched in 2023, initially selling work at craft fayres across the county. My artwork is inspired by a love of animals, flowers and all things whimsical. I use a mixture of watercolour, ink, salt and mica powders to create colourful, fun pieces.
